Have you ever been intrigued by new, undiscovered music and bands? Be part of the Youth Jury for the European Emerging Bands Contest at #EYE2025 and identify amazing upcoming talents from all across Europe! As a member of the Jury, you can win a trip to Strasbourg to attend the EEBC concerts for free! Thousands of young people from all over Europe will gather in Strasbourg (France) between the 13 and 14 June 2025 for the 6th edition of #EYE2025 (European Youth Event). To serve an incredible audience of engaged European youth, the European Parliament and the Europen Youth Forum have partnered with JM International to find and support the best new European musical acts, providing a unique platform to be discovered by future fans. THE 2025 EEBC YOUTH JURY JMI invites young musicians from its member organizations and programs to become part of the 2025 European Emerging Bands Contest Youth Jury. The jury of young representatives (under 35 y/o) will stand alongside JMI and the European Parliament in selecting the bands who will perform at the EYE2025. Participants will learn how to sharpen their critical artistic eye, appreciate different music genres, and understand what makes a band great through a challenging and interactive experience! The Youth Jury will include 15 to 30 young people based in Europe and aged between 18 and 35 years old. In the middle of April, the youth jury will evaluate up to 30 shortlisted emerging bands and choose the 6-8 winning acts. Additionally, one lucky jury member (under 30) will be drawn and will win the chance to attend the EYE2025 and the EEBC concerts live! JMI will cover travel to Strasbourg (up to 250EUR reimbursement), accommodation and subsistence from June 12th to June 15th. The schedule for the European Emerging Bands Contest Youth Jury is as follows: Jury members will: - Receive a list of bands with no more than 30 entries on April 16th. - Cast their votes online (via mubazar.com) by April 17th - Meet for a digital Jury session on April 17th and select 6 (up to 8) winners. Jury members will need to: - Attend every session as per the schedule provided. - Come to a firm and fair decision in full cooperation. - Represent the organization(s) professionally in any media appearances, if any. The European Emerging Bands Contest Youth Jury will be facilitated by JM International. NB: if you apply as a musician or as part of a band to the 2025 EEBC you cannot be part of the Youth Jury.
