Calling all young European bands – we want YOU! This is your chance to shine! Enter the European Emerging Bands Contest and take the stage at #EYE2025 (European Youth Event) in front of an electric crowd of 5,000+ young people. Picture this: performing live in the stunning city of Strasbourg, in front of the European Parliament, on the 13 and 14 June 2025. Sounds amazing, right? So, what are you waiting for? Submit your music, videos and links by the 13 April 2025, and show us what makes you the best! Here’s how it works: first, a professional jury will shortlist 15-30 acts. Then, a Youth Jury will handpick 6 to 8 lucky winners who’ll rock the stage in Strasbourg! Who can apply? Solo artists or bands (max 6 members) from: - EU member countries - EU candidate countries (Albania, Bosnia & Herzegovina, Kosovo, Montenegro, North Macedonia, Serbia, Turkey, Ukraine) - EFTA countries (Iceland, Liechtenstein, Norway, Switzerland) - Former EU member countries (United Kingdom) All band members must be under 30 years old. Your music should be accessible to a wide audience. How to apply? Submit your application via Mubazar.com by midnight CET on the 13 April, 2025. Share: - 2 to 5 songs (in video format – YouTube or Vimeo – or audio format – .mp3) - A video of a live performance (optional) What’s in it for you? A 30-minute live performance in front of thousands at EYE2025 – and we’ve got you covered! Your travel and accommodation expenses are fully paid by JM International. Plus, we offer a cash prize of €1000 per band and €500 per solo artist! How does the selection work? A technical jury will first shortlist 15-30 acts. The Youth Jury will then select the final 6 to 8 winners. Here’s what we’re looking for: - Musical quality - Diversity in geography, gender, and musical style - Originality - A contribution to raising awareness about major societal issues When will you know?
