Getting to where you want to be as a music artist requires knowledge, inspiration, connections and support. This is why JBL and Martin Garrix are launching the Music Academy: a space where 30 up-and-coming musicians, songwriters, singers, and producers learn from the experts of the music industry. Happening in October/November 2024 in Amsterdam. Here's what you can expect in our program: Music From ideation to creation, these theoretical and practical sessions will prepare you to create your songs in no time. - Vocal production - Mixing / Mastering - Ideation process Branding Nailing your branding plays a big part in putting your music out there. - Branding strategy - Social content - how to reach your target audience - Visual identity Business All you need to know to establish a solid foundation. - Legal - Bookings Timelines: March 4 - April 30 23:59 CET – Applications submission period May 1st - May 31st – Announcement of shortlisted artists June - August – Shortlisted artists will invited to a local activation to share one more music piece. Based on this music finalists will be chosen September 1st - September 30th - Selecting and announcement of the winners who will participate in the event October – November – Music Academy at STMPD Studios, Amsterdam Need help with your application?
