The Ethno Mobility program is one of the largest worldwide scholarship programs for ๐ณ๐ผ๐น๐ธ, ๐๐ผ๐ฟ๐น๐ฑ, ๐ฎ๐ป๐ฑ ๐๐ฟ๐ฎ๐ฑ๐ถ๐๐ถ๐ผ๐ป๐ฎ๐น ๐บ๐๐๐ถ๐ฐ๐ถ๐ฎ๐ป๐ aged 16-30, supporting the participation of eligible musicians at Ethno camps by covering for the expenses of travel and participation fees. Visa costs are additionally covered, where required in order to attend the Ethno for which the grant has been awarded. Ethno Mobility grant scholarships aim to provide those musicians the opportunity to attend an Ethno who would not be able to do so without ๐ณ๐ถ๐ป๐ฎ๐ป๐ฐ๐ถ๐ฎ๐น ๐๐๐ฝ๐ฝ๐ผ๐ฟ๐, even in the case of an Ethno in close geographical proximity. If you already received a scholarship from Ethno Mobility to travel to an Ethno in the past in the period 2019-2023, you are NOT eligible to apply for this call. 2. ๐๐ฎ๐น๐ฎ๐ป๐ฐ๐ฒ โ Gender balance, cultural balance, balance between musical instruments and styles โ this balance is maintained by the Ethno Mobility team at the JM International Head Office, that coordinates Mobility placements with ALL Ethnos. This is why ๐ฎ๐ฝ๐ฝ๐น๐ถ๐ฐ๐ฎ๐ป๐๐ ๐ฑ๐ผ ๐ป๐ผ๐ ๐ด๐ฒ๐ ๐๐ผ ๐ฐ๐ต๐ผ๐ผ๐๐ฒ ๐๐ต๐ฒ ๐๐๐ต๐ป๐ผ: if you are selected, Ethno Mobility will contact you with a placement offer that matches your musical profile and available dates. 3. Access to Ethno โ If you have been to an Ethno twice or more times, your application may be evaluated differently from those that have never been to an Ethno, or only attended once before. ๐ฌ๐ข๐จ๐ฅ ๐ฉ๐๐๐๐ข๐ฆ When attaching links of videos in support of your application, please bear in mind that the reviewers are looking to understand you and your music. Therefore ๐๐ฝ๐น๐ผ๐ฎ๐ฑ ๐๐ง ๐๐๐๐ฆ๐ง ๐ข๐ก๐ ๐๐ถ๐ฑ๐ฒ๐ผ ๐ผ๐ณ ๐ข๐ก๐๐ฌ ๐ฌ๐ข๐จ ๐ฝ๐น๐ฎ๐๐ถ๐ป๐ด ๐ผ๐ฟ ๐๐ถ๐ป๐ด๐ถ๐ป๐ด, for maximum 2-3 mins duration. This is a necessary condition to your application being accepted. This can be a video that you shoot on your mobile phone, as long as you are clearly seen playing/singing and the audio is clear as well, with minimal background noise. Videos of orchestras and groups in which you participate will be counted as an ๐ฎ๐ฑ๐ฑ๐ถ๐๐ถ๐ผ๐ป๐ฎ๐น ๐๐ถ๐ฑ๐ฒ๐ผ and NOT the main one. Audio files of only you playing can also be attached, again as an ADDED resource, NOT the main one. ๐๐ฒ๐ณ๐ผ๐ฟ๐ฒ ๐๐ผ๐ ๐ฏ๐ฒ๐ด๐ถ๐ป, ๐ฝ๐น๐ฒ๐ฎ๐๐ฒ ๐บ๐ฎ๐ธ๐ฒ ๐๐๐ฟ๐ฒ ๐๐ผ๐ ๐ต๐ฎ๐๐ฒ ๐ฟ๐ฒ๐ฎ๐ฑ๐ถ๐น๐ ๐ฎ๐๐ฎ๐ถ๐น๐ฎ๐ฏ๐น๐ฒ: 1. A scan of your passport page with your personal details clearly visible (required); both passports if you are a dual citizen (required). 2. A clear scan of your Residence Permit (if applicable). 3. A recent photo of yourself, preferably with your instrument (required). 4. A close-up photo of yourself (required). 5. If you are under the age of 18 on the date of application, a consent letter signed by your parent(s) or legal guardian(s) that is valid until your 18th birthday (required, if applicable).
